Grand Immersive Lantern Show
Step into the largest fantasy nightscape ever presented overseas.
In 2025, Balmoral will be transformed into a glowing dreamscape, illuminated by
over 50 giant handcrafted lanterns inspired by ancient legends and cultural tales
— lighting up the entire town centre for the very first time.

Enjoy a vibrant lineup of musical, dance, and theatrical performances featuring
solo artists, street buskers, local schools, and community groups.
Food Stalls, Food Trucks, and Artisans Market
Indulge in a feast of flavours and creativity with more than 80 stalls offering
delicious food, traditional crafts, and unique handmade goods.
Amusement Rides
Get your adrenaline pumping with thrilling large-scale mechanical rides
for all ages.
Free Chinese Craft and Food Workshops
Join hands-on workshops to learn lantern and mooncake making, play
traditional Chinese heritage games, and experience the art of crafting
“YueBing”.
Spectacular Fireworks Closing Ceremony
Don’t miss the breathtaking fireworks show, lighting up the Auckland sky
at approximately 10:00 PM on Sunday, October 5th, as a grand finale to
the festival.
