The Auckland Moon Festival Month runs from 30 August to 27 September 2026, with the Main Festival taking place from 25-27 September 2026.
The Main Festival will be held at 173 Balmoral Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1024
Most festival activities are free to attend. Some workshops or special experiences may require registration or a ticket.

Enjoy live performances, cultural experiences, traditional crafts, family activities, food vendors, exhibitions, the Five Neighbourhoods, and much more.
Yes. The festival is family-friendly and includes activities designed for children and visitors of all ages.
Parking is limited. We encourage visitors to use public transport, rideshare services, or carpool where possible.
The venue is easily accessible by bus and car. Transport information and directions will be available closer to the event.
Yes. The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you require additional assistance, please contact us before your visit.

Yes. A variety of food vendors will offer both traditional and contemporary cuisine throughout the festival.
Yes, you may bring your own food. However, we encourage visitors to support our local food vendors.
